FORMTEKNIK becomes part of MGS – Exclusive, global position expanded

The positive development of the FORMTEKNIK Group with continuous investments and double-digit growth in Sweden, Denmark and Germany, now gains additional global momentum.

FORMTEKNIK becomes part of the globally operating MGS Group from Wisconsin/USA.

In total, MGS employs more than 1,500 people at now 14 locations and is a provider of complete solutions for customers in the medical technology, healthcare, packaging, consumer goods and automotive industries.

This includes intelligent, integrated manufacturing solutions from early product development to production and industrial automation technology.

“Our corporate cultures have enormous similarities. The roots of both companies lie in mould making. Our thinking and actions are centred on optimised and integrated solutions in the areas of mould making, injection moulding and automation. Our employees are our most important success factor,” Paul Manley (President/CEO of MGS) and the local FORMTEKNIK Managing Directors Henrik Jørgensen, Jan Aronsson and Dirk Paulmann are pleased to say.

A decisive customer advantage is the global positioning of the group. In addition to the state-of-the-art FORMTEKNIK Tech Centres with white and clean rooms in Roskilde (Denmark) and Anderstorp (Sweden), European customers now also have access to the MGS production facility in Leixlip, Ireland. Here, they specialise in the production of medical devices in a 5,000 m² space and have recently invested in an additional 800 m² class 8 clean room.

“As a team, we can now support our demanding global customers even deeper and broader in their value chain. From product idea to market launch, at unbeatable speed,” summarises Dirk Paulmann.
